Ethics in Field Investigations

This 4 week course from the Rhine Education Center is part of the requirements for the Professional Field Investigator certificate program. It is presented as an adult education course and it may be applied to a certificate program from the Rhine Education Center. It will consist of weekly class broadcasts on Tuesdays from August 8th - 29th, 8:00pm - 10:00pm, Eastern US Time, along with an interactive discussion forum where students can discuss class topics and interact with the course instructor.

If you cannot attend the live class broadcasts, you can watch the recordings of the classes when it is most convenient for you. Many successful students have attended courses by watching the class recordings.

Course Syllabus

Course Description

This 4-week course provides a discussion of the ethical issues that can arise in psi research and field investigations and introduces practices to ensure ethical considerations are being addressed.  Topics will include the basic foundation of ethics including an introduction to Institutional Review Boards and the ethical guidelines used by professional researchers.  In addition, examples will be provided from real-life investigations and situations that are often encountered by field investigators.

Besides paranormal investigations, investigations also include exploring reincarnation, and practices related to mediumship and after-death communications.

Where: This is an ONLINE COURSE, so you can participate anywhere you have an internet connection.
